Clever Save the Date options

Since I focus on (Day of) Wedding Coordination, I rarely get to see the Save the Dates from my clients but I love the idea of Save the Dates. It is the first glimpse of the wedding event and can really make an impact on your guests. Here are a few creative Save the Dates that I have stumbled across recently. These same ideas can also be used as invitations for smaller scale events, such as bridal showers, engagement parties, baby showers or even an elopement! Enjoy!

How cute are these? Easy to ship and Easy to assemble all the information is custom printed onto balloons and can easily be read when your guests blow up the balloon. You can order your balloons in custom colors here.

Scratch Off Ticket Save the Dates:

When I was a child, my grandmother used to buy me Scratch off Lottery tickets when she came to visit. These Save the Dates evoke the whimsy and exhilaration of winning $2. I love the idea of including a penny or two in the envelope!

Matchbook and Magnet Save the Dates:

Although these are not currently available on Twig & Thistle's Etsy Page, when she first wrote about these letterpress Matchbooks I could not wait to blog about them!

Inside the matchbook is a magnet for your guests with all the wedding day information. I really love the colors and art deco design work! You could easily have real matches available that compliment the save the date at your wedding reception.
